The tutorials are targeted at three different user groups. Each user group builds on the knowledge of the previous group.

  • Basic users run MISCore using existing processes. They can also modify the data files of such existing processes, run a population model and analyze the outputs, e.g. by means of cost-effectiveness analyses.

  • Process builders build their own processes. They have advanced knowledge of the MISCore structure and know how to use properties and the event queue.

  • Modellers adapt processes to their needs to use snapshots and stratification. Using these tools, they can calibrate or extend existing models.

The Example MISCAN processes section gives an overview of EC and EC_screening processes which represent MISCAN-Endometrium. They serve as examples of MISCore processes. For each, the model structure and necessary data are described. Not all functionalities of these processes are described; we refer to Processes in the Reference guide for a complete overview.
